Tecno International recently participated in a panel titled “Sustainability and Regionalisation: A New Era for Corporate Sustainability?” held at the Italian Consulate in New York City. This panel explored critical themes of sustainability, regionalisation, and re-shoring in corporate strategy. Head of Strategy Allegra Fortunato shared Tecno’s approach to supporting European SMEs in restructuring their supply chains to achieve sustainable outcomes. The discussion, which included leaders from Deloitte, JP Morgan, Pirelli North America, and UCL, emphasized sustainability as an essential foundation for resilience and growth on a global scale.

Last week, Tecno International had the privilege of speaking at Cambridge Cleantech as part of Unindustria Reggio Emilia’s “Sustainability Transition Management” master program. Milan’s CSR and Social Innovation Exhibition at Università Bocconi

Last month, Tecno International had the pleasure of attending “Challenging Contradictions – The 2024 CSR and Social Innovation Exhibition” at Università Bocconi in Milan. This event brought together leaders across industries to discuss the future of corporate social responsibility and sustainable business practices.

Salvatore Amitrano, CFO of Tecno Group and Director of Tecno International, joined the panel discussion titled “CSR3D: New Obligations for Companies.” He shared insights on the critical importance of sustainability strategies, particularly for SMEs, where long-term, strategic vision is essential. Supporting Young Talent through the MIO Program Awards

Tecno International was honoured to sponsor the Best Mentee award for the 2023-24 Mentoring for International Opportunity (MIO) program by Talented Italians in the UK (TIUK), held under the patronage of the Italian Consulate in London. This prestigious initiative supports young Italian talents with mentorship, guidance, and scholarships.

This year’s scholarship was awarded to a master’s student from the University of Glasgow, with a PhD candidate from Queen Mary University of London recognised as runner-up. The ceremony celebrated the dedication and academic excellence of both recipients, while also acknowledging the invaluable support of mentors and the TIUK Steering Committee.

Represented by its Head of Strategy, Tecno International’s sponsorship reflects its commitment to empowering young talent in line with its values of sustainability and growth. The 2024-25 MIO program will welcome a new cohort of thirty mentees selected from over a hundred applicants across Italy, and Tecno is proud to continue its support for this impactful program.
