Tecno International has acquired a 65% stake in Energika, a leader in energy efficiency solutions based in Rimini. This acquisition strengthens Tecno’s SustainTech capabilities, enabling the company to enhance its services in sustainable energy management and extend its reach into the Spanish market, where Energika already operates.

Energika’s Role in the SustainTech Expansion

With nearly three decades of experience, Energika brings a solid foundation in energy efficiency, an area critical to sustainability. Energika’s expertise complements Tecno’s SustainTech portfolio, offering new capabilities that support clients in their transition towards digital and sustainable practices. Energika’s addition to Tecno will bolster an array of services designed to help SMEs improve their energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and adopt sustainable technologies.

This integration allows Tecno to incorporate Energika’s advanced analytics and energy management systems, expanding service offerings to more than 4,500 clients. Energika’s projected revenue of €2.7 million in 2024 and a client base of over 1,000 organisations will further contribute to Tecno’s growth.

A Holistic Approach to Sustainability and Energy Management

The acquisition integrates Energika’s energy solutions into Tecno’s SustainTech framework, which focuses on assessing and improving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics. Tecno’s enhanced offering now includes in-depth energy assessments as part of its comprehensive ESG evaluation, enabling clients to better measure, manage, and report on their sustainability goals.

Giovanni Lombardi, President of Tecno, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Energika’s expertise strengthens our ability to support clients in achieving their sustainability and energy goals. This partnership enriches our SustainTech offering, enhancing both compliance and strategic ESG services, while opening opportunities in the Spanish market.”

Energika’s Vision for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

Energika’s CEO shared his perspective on the acquisition, emphasising the mutual benefits for both companies. “Joining Tecno allows us to expand our reach and deliver even more effective solutions. Our shared goals of promoting energy efficiency and sustainable technologies align perfectly, making this partnership a key step in advancing corporate sustainability for both SMEs and large enterprises.”

Supporting the EU’s Twin Transition Objectives

This acquisition is aligned with Tecno’s commitment to the EU’s Twin Transition objectives, which focus on the intersection of digital and green transformation. With Energika’s energy expertise, Tecno is poised to drive meaningful change, helping Italian and European businesses embrace sustainable energy practices while advancing digital transformation goals.

The acquisition of Energika marks an important milestone in Tecno’s SustainTech journey, reinforcing its position as a leader in sustainability-driven innovation. Tecno looks forward to leveraging this partnership to provide robust, energy-focused solutions that meet the growing demands of the eco-digital economy, both in Italy and beyond.
